The Gurdjieff Studies Foundation of Denver seeks to continue the Work brought to the world by G.I. Gurdjieff. In the tradition of the great masters, Gurdjieff studied in secret monasteries and distilled the eternal teachings and ways to awakening and enlightenment, into a practical approach specifically oriented to those living in today's world. This work was brought to Denver by John Fuchs, at the request of Lord John Pentland, whom Mr. Gurdjieff left in charge of the continuation of his work in North America.

Seeking to become awake and alive within this lifetime, we work toward the collection and deepening of consciousness and the awakening of true conscience. Gurdjieff's teaching has been passed on as an oral tradition through group work, and left in his series of writings, "All and Everything." The Denver group is affiliated with the Gurdjieff Foundation of New York and California.
